I live in an aquarium
Filled with your tears
With rooms and chambers
Each a different flavor
Save your tears for me
I need them to breathe
Keeping each type separate
Joy, sadness, frustration or pain
We shall have a tasting
Sipping small samples
No snacks - just crackers
To cleanse the palate
The differences are subtle
And we must not mask them
I will sleep in your sadness
And toil in your frustration
I will cook and consume your pain
But the heart of my days will be spent
In my salty living room
Swimming in your joy
