INVISIBLE TO SEE

You tell me that I don't know what I want
As if my answer could fix the world
What I want is clear to me
It can be awful hard to express
It's made of things invisible to see

Timing is everything
Or so it seems to be
But I can't sit and wait
For the hands of a clock
That will always be invisible to see

You want to know where this is going
Is it wrong to admit that I don't know
What the future is going to be?
But I know that the light that I am following
Is one invisible to see

We are connected
In a million different ways
There is nothing binding you to me
Except a million threads
All invisible to see

The angels on my shoulders
Chase the monsters from my bed
There's not a lot that scares me
A speeding bus can break my bones
But not the things invisible to see

Whenever we are together
You are always the most striking
Woman in the room to me
But the things that made me fall in love
Remain invisible to see

Do you need to know what happens next?
Why can't you just let it be?
And let it just be good enough
That the very best part will always be
Invisible to see
