SOLUBLE FISH

All my clocks are melting
Salvador Dali is running my life
My world has no order
Now that you are gone

Both my eyes are on
The same side of my face
Pablo Picasso has taken over my brain
Now that you are gone

Free of your control
Everything is different
I believe that it is better
But it's still too soon to tell

Dashing up stairways
In an endless circle
As if printed by Escher
Getting nowhere fast

I look in the mirror
At the back of my head
Like a Magritte painting
My world is askew

I lack substance
Like soluble fish
Corporeal restraints dissolving
Now that you are gone

I know what is coming
My reality changing
To one that's much better
Now that you are gone
