SPARKS
Patti's been second guessing
Now convinced that what's messing
Up her love life is a brain
Just to big for her own good
But she needs to stop thinking
And work on just being
So she can open her eyes
To be ready to spot the arrival of sparks

Sometimes we forget
What we're looking for
But it's really quite simple
To get what's most precious
We just need to be ready
To spot the arrival of sparks

Bonnie thinks with her heart
And it tears her apart
As she tries to connect
She keeps landing with men
That attach to her skin
But don't get what's within
So they drag her down paths
That are not what she needs in her life

Sometimes we forget
What we're looking for
But it's really quite simple
To get what's most precious
We just need to be ready
To spot the arrival of sparks

Kenny just doesn't know
Which way he should go
As all his friends tell him
That it's time to get settled
And begin to get on with his life
But he's been burned before
So it's hard to be sure
If he's ready to spot the arrival of sparks

Sometimes we forget
What we're looking for
But it's really quite simple
To get what's most precious
We just need to be ready
To spot the arrival of sparks

You don't know when it's coming
Forcing it just doesn't do any good
Sparks don't make appointments
They just seem to happen
When we're governed by impulse rather than rules
Does a touch make you quiver?
Then the kiss should deliver
The spark you have hoped for all of your life
